The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has revealed that the agency have arrested 192 suspected drug traffickers in Ebonyi state between January and September 2022. The agency state Commander, Mr Iyke Uche said that they also seized 113.414 kilogrammes of cannabis sativa. Uche said that 0.0621kgs methamphetamine, locally known as Mkpurummiri, was also seized within the period under review. The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, has confirmed that the bank will release $120 million to settle the trapped funds of international airlines operating in the country. The CBN Governor revealed this on Monday during a meeting between the leadership of the House of Representatives, International Air Transportation Association, Airlines Operators of Nigeria and the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika.
