The Federal Government has revealed that the Kaduna-Zaria-Kano highway will be completed before May 29. The FG through the Minister of Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Raji-Fashola, revealed this on Monday while inspecting the highway before the inauguration. The 375.4 Kilometre Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano project, which was granted during the first term of the Buhari administration, includes the highway segment. A Federal High Court in Abuja has rejected the request to hear an ex-parte motion filed by the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, Senator Aisha Dahiru-Ahmed (Benani). Instead, Justice Inyang Ekwo ordered her lawyer, Mohammed Sheriff, to address the court on whether it possesses the jurisdiction hear the motion relating to the happenings in Adamawa State.
